Product Details

Eye Bolt is supplied for drawing-defined hinged connections, adjustable clamping and mechanical linkages. An eye-shaped head and a DIN 444 reference alone do not establish lifting suitability; confirm a specifically rated lifting product and its applicable instructions for lifting service. The current supply reference is DIN 444 / GB 798 / Customized, with Carbon Steel / Stainless Steel, Zinc Plated / HDG / Black / Plain, and M6–M36/4.8-8.8.

Final dimensions, tolerances, grade or class, coating system, matched components, inspection documents and packing must be confirmed against the purchase order, approved drawing or project specification before production.

Selection & Use Steps

  1. Confirm whether the assembly is a hinged linkage or adjustable clamp, and send the approved drawing.
  2. Specify thread, shank and threaded lengths, eye bore, eye thickness and the mating pin or shoulder bolt.
  3. Confirm material, class, finish, loading direction and the intended joint movement.
  4. Inspect eye, shank, threads and mating-part fit before assembly.
  5. For lifting service, select a specifically rated lifting product and follow its applicable instructions; do not infer suitability from the eye shape or thread size.

Technical Drawing

Confirm thread series and tolerance, overall and threaded lengths, eye bore, eye thickness, head geometry and mating pin or shoulder-bolt fit against the approved drawing.

Confirm joint alignment, clearance and bearing contact for the intended movement. A dimension drawing does not establish lifting capacity.

Application Environment

Use in a hinged linkage or clamp depends on the approved assembly design, load direction, mating pin, material and finish. Review moisture, chemicals, temperature, vibration and corrosion before selection.

Lifting service requires a specifically rated lifting product with applicable load, orientation and installation instructions confirmed for the task.

Installation & Handling Precautions

  • Check the eye, shank, threads and mating pin for damage or deformation before assembly.
  • Confirm alignment, pin fit, bearing contact and required movement; do not force a misaligned joint into place.
  • Protect threads and coatings and use the approved retention and tightening procedure.
  • Do not select this DIN 444 reference for lifting without confirming a specifically rated lifting product and its applicable instructions.
  • Do not infer a load rating from thread size, material class or appearance.

RFQ Checklist

  • Product name, required DIN 444 / GB 798 reference or approved custom drawing
  • Hinged linkage or clamping application, design load and loading direction
  • Thread, shank and threaded lengths, eye bore, eye thickness and mating-pin dimensions
  • Required material, class, finish and exposure
  • Quantity, packing, destination and inspection documents
  • Approved assembly drawing and mating-part requirements
  • For lifting service, specify the rated lifting product, applicable load and installation documents for separate confirmation
